Lydia: So who am I, and what is this column about? I am a human being easily intoxicated by color, texture, prints and patterns, who adores both the simple couture of Audrey Hepburn and the bold, daring menswear of Katherine. National Geographic was the first “fashion magazine” I ever read, and I have been addicted to the everyday exotic since then. I suppose this blog is a continuation of a column I started for a fashion magazine that almost existed. I also suppose it really is about art in all forms. I further suppose that it is a documentation of an artist battling it out in the "real world." "Truth is beauty," "Art is pain." "To be human is to create."
